My name is Jason and I am from Frederick Maryland. I am an owner of an Xplorer V and when it works it awesome. Notice I say when it works, witch is unfortunately only about thirty percent of the time. A few weeks ago I had a fairly bad crash. I was on my second flight of the day and had landed to switch out batteries. I allways calibrate the compass, even when only switching batteries and flying in the same location. Anyway did an auto take off and flew about 70 meters away at thirty meters in altitude. Turned the drone around and brought it back towards me. When it was about twelve meters away I saw right away that something was not right. Tried to execute a RTH and nothing. Tried to land manually and nothing. The drone would not respond to any inputs at all. It made a bunch of erratic maneuvers and eventually hit a tree. XIRO was very responsive and extremely efficient in handling my warranty claim. I had replacement parts six days after the initial contact with them. So I have a new gimbal and camera, new battery right new propane a new flight controller. I installed all the replacement parts and all was well for one week. Now out of the blue the remote and flight controller will not bind. I was literally flying Sunday afternoon and went to fly again two hours later and no matter what I do the drone will not bind with the remote. The Xplorer is in my opinion the best looking drone on the market. Unfortunately it is only looking good on my shelf and not in the air. I don't know what to do. I am having a hard time trusting in the safety and reliability of my Xplorer. I really do like the drone, it flys beautifully. Does any one have a suggestion? If you read this whole thing thanks for letting me vent and if you know how I may get in the air again please let me know. Cheers!
